View and manage your donations in My Giving. You can download tax receipts for credit card donations or easily donate again to causes or organizations that you donated to in the past. You can also request matching gifts for your donations to increase their impact when your company has an active matching gift program. Matching gift program limits and eligibility apply.
View My Giving History
View and manage your giving history in My Giving.
Download tax receipts for your credit card donations or easily donate again to causes or organizations that you donated to in the past. Request matching gifts for your donations to increase their impact when your company has an active matching gift program. Matching gift program limits and eligibility apply.
To view your giving history:
Tap Menu.
Tap My Giving.
Select a donation to see its details. You can filter your donations as required.
To download a tax receipt for a credit card donation, tap Receipt.
To donate to a cause or organization again, tap Donate Again.
To request a matching gift for a donation, tap Request Match. Matching gift program limits and eligibility apply.
To cancel a recurring donation, tap the Actions menu, then tap Cancel Recurrence.
To change a recurring donation, tap the Actions menu, then tap Change Donation. Date and matching gift restrictions may apply.
Note: A recurring donation is completed as of its Recurring End Date. However, its status will reflect completion as of the payment cycle following the Recurring End Date.
View My Matching Gifts
View and manage your matching gifts in My Matching Gifts.
You can easily see your matching gift program balance and how much you’ve requested against it. You can also see the program’s deadlines for donations and matching gift requests.
When your company has an active matching gift program, you can request a matching gift at the time of your donation or afterward for past donations. Matching gift program limits and eligibility apply. If you have questions about approved or processed requests, please contact your program administrator.
To view your matching gifts:
Tap Menu.
Tap My Giving.
In the My Matching Gifts section, you’ll see at a glance:
The matching gift program name.
Your matching gift balance for this program and the total amount you’ve requested against it.
The dates by which donations must be made and matching gifts must be requested for this program.
To view a matching gift for a past donation, select the donation in the My Giving History section to see its details. If you haven’t already requested a matching gift, tap Request Match.
To request a matching gift for an eligible donation made outside of Philanthropy Cloud, tap Request Match in the My Matching Gifts section.
Match My Donation
Matching gifts increase your impact. A matching gift is a donation by a company prompted by an employee’s donation to an eligible nonprofit. When your company has an active matching gift program, request matching gifts for your donations and see your contributions go farther.
You can request a full or partial matching gift at the time of your donation or afterward for past donations. This includes eligible donations made outside of Philanthropy Cloud. Matching gifts for recurring donations are requested automatically with each future donation recurrence. Matching gift program limits and eligibility apply.
You can view your matching gift requests in the My Matching Gifts section of your Profile. If you have questions about approved or processed requests, please contact your program administrator.
To request a matching gift:
Tap Menu.
Tap My Giving.
To request a matching gift for an eligible donation made outside of Philanthropy Cloud, tap Request Match in the My Matching Gifts section.
Enter the Donation Date.
Enter the Recipient.
Enter the Payment Method Used. Payroll and bonus payroll donations are not eligible for off-platform donation matching.
Enter the Donation Amount.
Enter the Matching Gift Requested.
Tap Request Match. Your off-platform donation is logged and your matching gift is requested.
To request a matching gift for a past donation made using Philanthropy Cloud, find it in the My Giving History section and tap Request Match.
Donation details are displayed, such as the recipient, donation amount, and payment method used.
Enter the requested matching gift amount in Match My Donation. When you request a matching gift for a donation that has multiple recipients, the per-recipient amounts are automatically allocated for you.
Tap Request amount. For example, Request $100 USD.
To request a matching gift at the time of your donation, tap Match My Donation and enter the amount before you submit your donation. Matching gift program limits and eligibility apply. Note: These fields are initially pre-selected and pre-populated for you by default if your company has an active matching gift program.
Change My Recurring Donation
You can change the donation amounts for recurring credit card and payroll donations. Changes apply to the next scheduled donation, and a confirmation is sent to you. Donation details show when the latest donation change was made, and by whom. Date and matching gift restrictions may apply.
The following restrictions also apply:
Donation recipients cannot be changed.
Donations with existing matching gift requests cannot be changed.
Canceled recurring donations cannot be changed.
One-time payroll or bonus payroll donations cannot be changed.
Donations cannot be paused.
To change a recurring donation:
Tap Menu.
Tap My Giving.
Find and tap the appropriate donation.
Tap the Actions menu, then tap Change Donation.
Enter the donation amount.
Tap Change Donation. A confirmation is sent to you. Changes apply to the next scheduled donation.
Cancel My Recurring Donation
You can cancel recurring credit card and payroll donations.
Recurring donations cannot be paused. They must be canceled and recreated as required.
Note: A recurring donation is completed as of its Recurring End Date. However, its status will reflect completion as of the payment cycle following the Recurring End Date.
To cancel a recurring donation:
Tap Menu.
Tap My Giving.
Find and tap the appropriate donation.
Tap the Actions menu, then tap Cancel Recurrence.
Access My Tax Receipts
Tax receipts are issued differently based on the payment method used for the donation. Tax receipts also vary per country.
When you donate using a credit card or debit card, a confirmation email with an attached tax receipt is sent to your work email address. If you don't receive an email a few minutes after making your credit card donation, check your spam folder.
The tax receipt displays your home address when it is available; otherwise, it shows your work address. Your home address is updated by any address information saved when you add a new card.
When you donate using a non-credit card payment, a pledge confirmation email is sent to your work email address. Processors, such as Frontstream or the United Way, receive all non-credit card donations and issue tax receipts for them. They will email you instructions to your work email address on how to send your payment and fulfill your pledged donation. You can contact Philanthropy Cloud Support to reissue your pledge confirmation email. However, you must contact the processor listed in the confirmation email to reissue a tax receipt.
When you donate using your payroll or bonus payroll, you can use the appropriate pay stub as a tax receipt, since charitable deductions are indicated on your pay stubs. You can also contact your employer's payroll department if you have any payroll issues or questions.
Download Tax Receipts for Credit Card Donations
You can download tax receipts for your credit card donations at any time in My Giving. You can also contact Philanthropy Cloud Support to reissue a tax receipt. For Canadian donors, Philanthropy Cloud Support can void and reissue receipts.
To download a tax receipt for a credit card donation:
